Life in review

This is going to be a hard week, I can already tell. After having my second harsh asthma attack in a 72 hour period I am left cold, breathless, and have a migraine from the access of abuterol floating in my lungs as I type. After a frightening ordeal on Sunday night, I was bed rested for part of today, attempting to catch up on the sleep that the adrenaline in the inhaler caused me to be deprived from. I am still unsure of what caused this event, possibly was the -34 temperatures throughout the weekend, with a mixture of the high pollen count. All I know is that, God has blessed me with so many people out there that are watching over me. Without them, this may have been a very different post.

Having an event like so can cause one to really think about how many things in life they daily take for granted. How many times I sit and think to my self that nobody would care or notice if I was gone; but then seeing how many people come to my aid – a blessing. Or how each breathe of Oxygen is so precious. Once you go without these you notice how much they mean to you. Seeing my life flash before my eyes, how afraid I was that I could have quite possibly never seen the man I love or my family again. Maybe a bit over stating the issue here, but imagine, what if. The though just scares me to think of a possible loss, how it would effect those I love – nearly sends me spiraling into another episode. Life is such a blessing never take it for granted. Never let one moment pass without living it to the fullest, always live every moment like it is your last, because someday, it will be. Go on with life full speed ahead; no regrets from here on out.

God be my guide, the lamp unto my feet. Let me never stray from this path you have laid before me, let no unkind word slip from my lips. Nor let me take one moment for granted. You are my everything. – Amen

I want to take a moment to thank all of those whom where up half of the night, either at my side or 1000+ miles away praying that God had this situation under control. You are a blessing to my life and I pray that someday I will be able to express my gratitude in more than just words to you all. Thank you to all of you who posted little love notes on my last post as well as over on Abandonedhero’s site, thanks for all being such a blessing!
